You can follow the rope up the tree and see the guy with a chain saw. Several big limbs had to be removed before the tree was cut.

This pic shows the tree coming down. The rope is visible on the right that is pulling the tree to a favorable fall site.

After 4 trips to the dump we have it fairly well clear.

Saturday was a big day. The tree that was to come down by friends and I was taken down by professionals (a decision made Friday p.m.); Jonathan and I cleaned up the mess and Jackie (our 14 year old Jack Russell) got some sun in the back yard.

Kitchen Addition

We finally got started this week with our addition of our kitchen. What is not shown is the two 120' pines that were cut down as well as the huge double truck Gum tree.

The pictures are in reverse order with the fist in sequence last. My fault as this blog thing is very new to me.
